Apart from the desire to provide a comfortable place with good music and drinks, their mission is much more exciting and more responsible. "Sixteen" is a social enterprise launched by the Center for Integration of Youth (CIM), an association of citizens from Belgrade who has been advocating for a greater social integration of children involved in living and/or working on the streets for years, as well as for creating a support system for every vulnerable child. It was opened on December 12, 2017. "Sixteen" helps CIM to improve the sustainability of it's programs. The cafe bar is recognizable because of service ,,Svratište,,. This service provides support to children involved in life and work on the street as well as those who are at risk. Facilities of ,, Svratište,, are used by hundreds of boys and girls, aged between 5 and 15, who mostly come from the Roma population. "Sixteen" helps recruit former users of the ,,Svratište,, by providing children and young people between 16 and 19 years training and practice for becoming waiters and barmen. "Sixteen" gives them the opportunity to provide for themselves. They want them to become someone that the current members of ,,Svratište,, can look up to.
